The Eden Square Shopping Centre in Urmston is updating the car park management system from 1st July.
Workman LLP, the Managing Agent for the Centre said; Listening to our customers and retail tenants feedback, we understood that the current car park system was difficult to use.
Working with Horizon Parking we have developed a new customer friendly system that will allow customers to park for up to 3 hours for free.
There will be no need to take a ticket or enter your vehicle registration if staying less than 3 hours.
For those customers who require longer, when ready to leave they simply visit a pay station enter their vehicle registration on a large touch-screen machine and pay for their duration of stay. The pay station machines will assist customers in recalling their vehicle registration.
To offer flexibility, payment can be made by coin, notes, card or phone and the machines give change too.
Centre Manager, Dion Mulvey, said ‘We’re looking forward to working with Horizon Parking.
The new car park system, will make it easier for our customers to park at Eden Square Shopping Centre and enjoy its facilities.
Customer Information leaflets have been distributed to all our retail tenants for customers to collect in advance.
Horizon Parking will also have colleagues on site helping customers with the changeover which we hope will be well received.
The change will take place on Saturday 1st July.
