Due to T3 restrictions we are having to ask our customers to be socially distanced this Christmas when traditionally we do the reverse!
Our social seating within the centre has been isolated & when you have completed your purchases please do not mingle and linger in the Centre. Our Cafes & Shops offering takeaway food and drinks orders are remining our customers that alcohol cannot be served for immediate consumption inside or outside their business or on the pedestrian area of the centre as per the government guidelines.
Please stay safe and remember Hands Face, Space – when you are out shopping.
In line with the most recent announcement from the Government, Eden Square Shopping Centre is now partially closed.
All stores selling non-essential goods have closed, however stores selling food, medicines and essential items will remain open. Currently the stores OPEN are:
Aldi
Sainsbury’s
Quality Save
Iceland
Poundland
The Post Office
Newsagents
Boots
Opening times for these stores are varied and there are restrictions on customer numbers, plus dedicated hours for the elderly, vulnerable and NHS workers. Please check with individual stores for their most up to date trading hours.
Our thoughts go out to everyone that has been affected by this unprecedented situation, and we would like to express our gratitude to those on the frontline who are still working to help us get through this crisis.
The safety of our customers and colleagues is our top priority, and we would ask that unless your trip is essential, please stay home. If you do need to visit our essential stores we ask you adhere closely to social distancing rules. This is for your safety, the safety of our staff and the community as a whole.
At Eden Square we do our best to support the local community and assist with fundraising activities. Throughout 2017 almost £18,000 was raised by charities here at Eden Square.
We helped busking group Loose Change Buskers hit their target of raising £400,000 for Cancer Research UK. Almost £150,000 of which was raised in just the past 18 months. A familiar sight around the Urmston area, the Loose Change Buskers were formed in 2010 by Timperley and Altrincham musicians Bernard Dolan and John Fogel to boost donations to Cancer Research UK. The group has since grown to over 30 members who perform most weekends around the borough to raise money.
Marie Curie UK raised £1167.89 at Eden Square for their Great Daffodil Appeal in 2017 and our support of Paint Urmston Pink in association with Urmston Partnership helped raise £4,800 for Prevent Breast Cancer.
We will be continuing to support a variety of charities throughout 2018.
We have just launched the Flat White to our coffee range across all of our Greggs shops. A Flat White is a double espresso topped with hot frothy milk in an 8oz cup. Why not call into your Greggs shop in Eden Square and give it a try?
